In recent interviews, WOJ has said he has always planned a book currently titled "Mirror Mirror". Personally IMHO, I belong to theory that it's future and/or alternate Dresden/Elaine. Well WOJ has repeatedly answered he's as dead as you can be. I stand by my theory that I think Cowl is Justin DuMorne and Elaine has always been his willing ally. I seems to me that Jim is planning to create a parallel universe along these lines: "Will evil Harry ever truly manifest? Well we'll get to see that yeah." Probably not for Dresden though, but you know he's no fun, he's such a wet blanket, he's always complaining." "Kind of the idea is I want to change one choice and make a universe that's different by one choice and see what happens and that will be a great deal of fun for me.
